Evidence Against Spontanous Evolution

Published by davidsbutts at under Religion Edit This

I am an expert in chemical engineering. Consider a simple chemical produced by the body, hydrochloric acid, HCl. It is highly toxic, and kills living tissue. The way the body manufactures and handles this poison is miraculous.
The acid is secreted into the stomach where it aids digestion. Since the acid will attack tissue, the stomach secretes an insulating fluid called mucus. After the acid has done its work, the poison flows into the small intestine. To counteract the poison, sodium bicarbonate is secreted, and turns the acid into a harmless substance.
These chemicals are needed simultaneously. HCl in the body without mucus or sodium bicarbonate is fatal. Production of HCl requires an infinitely complex molecular refinery. It cannot evolve in little steps as evolutionists would have you believe. It requires a complete factory; not a quarter factory or half factory. The body’s molecular plant to produce mucus is even more complex. Add to this a molecular plant to produce bicarbonate, and the idea of chance simultaneous evolution is out of the question, no matter what the time span. A whole complex of miniature chemical factories must be organized all at once and at the right place. It takes the same complexity to make one drop of chemical as it does to make tons.
Selection of the fittest does not explain how an incomplete and useless molecular plant can survive over millions of years until it works. On the contrary, such an organism will be burdened by useless tissue during its generation and make it less likely to survive. In order for HCl to work, it must appear complete with all the delivery system, controls, mucus and alkalinity in place. Once more, all these systems must occur at the right location, not in the brain or in the femoral artery.
There are hundreds of completely formed chemical plants in the body that are inter-dependent and work only in unison with other molecular factories in all their complexities. I chose to describe only one, HCl, the simplest of them all.
The preponderance of evidence leads me to bet on the existence of a Master Designer who is called God by most people.
